First, let's take the term 'family' and spell that out to say: anyone related (or not) who you consider to be part of your inner circle. If you have a pet, you have a family. If you have a child and/or spouse... ta-da, family! If you have a roommate or best friend, they might as well be family too!
No two families are alike and neither are their sessions.
Before we meet I like to know how many family members will be present, ages of children, and names of pets. I urge new clients to share any unique needs, sensitivities, preferences, and mobility constraints. These tips help me establish rapport with uneasy kiddos, leery pets, and good ol' Auntie Peg who "will break the camera if she were to smile." I also want to be sure to choose a location that isn't overstimulating or difficult to maneuver.
After booking a session, I ask that clients fill out a questionnaire to define session goals and detail images desired. This helps me make sure you have chosen the right packaging, your location reflects your vision, the use of any flash or other tools can be planned, and your styling aligns too.
During a family session expect posed photos and candids. This creates a nice blend in a final gallery and gives options when selecting images for gifts and prints. I have found that across generations my clients have different preferences and it is never a bad idea to offer variety.
If you need help with basic session styling I am available via email to assist. I do not offer outfit rentals or complementary clothing in my sessions. Unsure what colors flatter you best? Be sure to mention that!

Option 1 - $350
