FAQ

  • What do I need to book?
    You will need a preferred date and time, proof of insurance, booking payment method.
  • How early/late can I book?
    Book as soon as you know your date. We know weather often changes so we try and remain flexible with bookings. Same-day bookings are often possible though we prefer as much advance notice as you can give to best serve you and your clients.
  • What happens if I need to reschedule my shoot?
    Life happens. We work through schedule changes and attempt to get you and/or your client rescheduled.
  • What do I get in my rental?
    Access to a 600 sq. ft. of studio with a themed set, lifestyle area, and backdrop wall. Enjoy water and snacks, hot coffee, temperature control, a bathroom, and an ADA compliant entrance/space. For families with babies we have swaddles, a handful of newborn outfits, and neutral covers. These are laundered between uses. There is a sofa, fireplace with mantle, various chairs, a step-stool, lamps, side tables, coffee table, bookcase, and other decor to style your setting.
  • Is the studio heated and cooled?
    The space is currently heated. We are installing a mini split unit in the spring of 2025 that will also add air conditioning to the space.
  • How many people will the studio hold?
    The studio really caps out around 20 people. With furniture especially, the space can get cramped. If we know you have a large group we can help accommodate for extended family/large group shots. Now defer to the question on parking...
  • How much parking is available on-site?
    Bookings are granted five parking spots. If you have a large group please encourage carpooling. If you have minis, the sweet spot is ~10 minutes per session to alleviate a traffic jam. Clients may arrive early and leave late so this gives everyone grace to be human.
  • Do you provide holiday sets?
    Yes! We aim to have one holiday set installed per month. Visit our Instagram account or subscribe to the newsletter to see what is current.
  • Can I rent your outdoor space too?
    Yes! Just indicate in your rental request that you would like to have outdoor access.
  • Do you offer discounts or specials?
    Sometimes! The best place to catch any specials would be in the newsletter. You may also see them on Instagram Stories.
  • Do you offer memberships?
    Not at this time. We rent by the hour, half-day, and day.
  • Does the studio have running water?
    No. There are bottled waters for drinking and a compostable toilet in the bathroom. Hand sanitizer is available for bathroom usage. There is no potable water in the space.
